Most first-time visitors combine one hill station, one night on the backwaters and, if time allows, a beach. Munnar is the hill station almost everyone includes, Thekkady adds wildlife and spice gardens, and an Alleppey houseboat is the one night guests remember most.
With a week, continue south to Kovalam or Varkala and fly home from Trivandrum. With a little more, cross into Tamil Nadu for sunrise at Kanyakumari. Our Kerala holiday planner explains the seasons and how many nights to spend where.
Hotels with breakfast, a private AC car with driver for the whole trip, fuel, tolls, parking, airport or railway pick-up and drop, and the sightseeing listed. Houseboat nights include all meals on board. Entry tickets and lunches are extra.
The Kerala Classic (4 nights: Munnar, Thekkady and an Alleppey houseboat) is our most-booked trip. With six nights, the Kerala Grand adds Kochi and Kovalam beach.
Yes. Southern routes like our beach and Kanyakumari tours start in Trivandrum, and any tour can be reversed to start there.
